Pregnancy significantly impacts the biomechanics of the pelvis and can lead to pain, discomfort and urinary incontinence.  Treatment and stability training can be effective to alleviate conditions during pregnancy and to restore form and function after pregnancy.

Recovery is not automatic after pregnancy and delivery.  A woman’s body goes through many changes:  ligaments can become very lax and many core muscles become overstretched or even torn.  This significantly impacts the function and integrity of the joints and the entire physical system.  Many muscles and movement patterns need to be retrained.

It is not normal to have back or pelvic pain after pregnancy, nor is it normal to leak urine at any time in life.  Women of all ages should take control and seek appropriate treatment and information.  Let us help you…
